The Followers page brings the latest count, new followers, unfollowers, net growth and churn into one view. Daily charts help you see the pattern, while the lists show the people detected by scans. Keep the selected account and reporting period in view when comparing results.

Read the evidence behind the numbers

GramFather shows when a scan last ran and when the next automatic check is expected. Some unfollower counts can be estimates until a full scan identifies the names; the interface labels those estimates. Blank chart days indicate that a count was not recorded.

“What brought them in” credits new followers to qualifying campaign activity using the product’s attribution rule. This helps you review activity, while the label should be understood as campaign credit rather than proof of causation.

Start with the correct account and connected browser

1. Select your Instagram account in the portal.
2. Open Insights → Followers.
3. Keep Chrome available with the extension connected and Instagram signed in to the matching account.
4. Opening the page queues the initial scan; click Run initial scan if it appears.
5. After it completes, choose a Date range and review the numbers, lists and charts.

Your questions, answered

Can GramFather show who unfollowed me?

Full follower scans can identify people who left after tracking began. Between scans, some losses may be estimates, which the interface labels. It does not reconstruct a complete unfollower history from before the initial scan.

Does follower tracking require my browser to be open?

The connected Chrome extension reads the follower list. Keep Chrome available with Instagram signed in to the correct account for scans to run.

What is the difference between Refresh and Refresh followers?

Refresh reloads the stored numbers and lists. Refresh followers starts a full scan of the follower list.

Is follower tracking included in Starter?

Yes. It is included in Starter, Growth and Pro. Starter is $9/month after a card-required 14-day trial.
