Choose who approves the reply

Review first is the default reply mode. Open Needs review, read the draft and use Approve & send when it is ready. Automatic replies queues eligible responses according to the feature and automation settings. Negative comments always wait for review, and drafts that the AI could not write are not sent automatically.

Comment AI starts switched off. “Also DM interested leads” defaults to on; review that choice during setup. The Comment AI video walkthrough shows the interface and the decisions to make before enabling it.

Set up comment replies step by step

1. Select the Instagram account whose posts you want to watch.
2. Connect the Chrome extension and your AI provider, then add your Brand voice and business knowledge.
3. Under Replies, open Comment replies.
4. Choose Review first or Automatic replies.
5. Review Also DM interested leads.
6. Open Settings to review reply categories, lead threshold, posting window and limits, then save.
7. Click Turn on comment replies and keep the extension available.
8. Check Needs review and inspect the recorded result after approving a draft.

Sending also requires the automation master switch, active hours and action allowances. Use the current in-app Comment AI settings guide for every setting and default.

Turn interested comments into organized follow-up

When a commenter qualifies as a lead, the workflow can draft a DM that continues from what they wrote and add the lead to your CRM. Review whether the proposed next step fits their interest and your offer. A useful reply answers the question first.
