Begin with the research question you meant to answer
Audience research produces a list of possible sources. Your review turns that list into a useful decision. Keep the original customer description beside the results: who you serve, what you offer and any location or language requirements that affect the work.
For a hypothetical local photographer, an account may be strongly related to photography while reaching people in another region. It could still inspire content ideas, yet provide less evidence for a local campaign source. Naming the intended use helps you evaluate the result fairly.
Use the audience research worksheet guide to prepare that hypothesis. This guide covers the next job: inspecting the results and deciding what to do with each account.
Understand the current Dream 100 workspace
GramFather’s current research workspace is labeled Dream 100. Its plan asks for a niche, the people you want to reach, your offer, location and language, and accounts you already know. Additional research inputs include hashtags and bio keywords.
The workspace includes Edit plan and Find more controls. Research uses the Chrome extension to inspect Instagram accounts. AI strategy and fit review use the connected OpenRouter account; without that connection, the interface describes research based on your hashtags and keywords.
The list groups accounts into Icons, Leaders, Rising and Peers. Treat those categories as organization and planning aids. The business decision still depends on whether an account fits your particular audience and intended activity.
Check status before interpreting the numbers
Open an account’s detail view. A pending account displays that it is waiting for the extension to check it. Other status messages can indicate that an account is unavailable, private or could not be checked. Resolve the context before relying on a partial result.
For checked accounts, the detail view can show Followers, Engagement, Posts a week and Fit, alongside the bio. Availability of values depends on the information collected. A missing value should remain unknown in your review rather than becoming a zero.
Look at the bio and current public content yourself where appropriate. A score summarizes collected signals; it does not establish that the account’s followers want your offer. Record observations in words so you can explain the decision later.
Read the fit explanation against your actual offer
The detail view includes Why they’re on your list when reasons are available. Compare that explanation with your customer hypothesis. Ask which specific detail supports the match and which part still needs confirmation.
| Review item | Evidence to inspect | Decision to record |
|---|---|---|
| Topic | Bio and recent content | Relevant subject or adjacent idea |
| Market | Stated area and language | Fits or needs clarification |
| Audience context | Questions and conversation themes | Useful hypothesis to explore |
| Activity | Available recent-post information | Appropriate time to review further |
| Next use | Your business purpose | Content idea, relationship or reviewed source |
Keep the evidence and your interpretation separate. “The bio says family photography in our region” is an observation. “This may be a complementary business to learn from” is a decision you can revisit.
Choose a proportional next action
The account view provides suggested ways to engage with different account types. Use those suggestions as a starting point for your judgment. You might read recent posts, save a useful audience question or prepare a relevant contribution.
Campaign builders include Pick from your Dream 100 for selecting an eligible reviewed account as a source. Choosing a source is a setup decision, separate from validating every recipient’s interest. Review the campaign audience, message and controls before running any activity.
A practical first review can result in three outcomes: keep for a clearly defined use, investigate a specific uncertainty, or set aside. Record a short reason in each case. This gives your next research session a useful starting point.
Keep a small evidence log and improve the plan
Use the editable audience research worksheet to capture observations and next actions outside the app. Review a manageable set thoroughly, then refine the plan if many suggestions miss the same requirement.
For example, repeated location mismatches may call for a clearer market description. Repeated topic mismatches may call for a more precise niche or known-account examples. Change the input deliberately and compare the next results.

Your questions, answered
What is Dream 100 in GramFather?
It is the current audience research workspace for building and reviewing a list of relevant accounts, with account categories and suggested next actions.
Does a high fit score prove buying intent?
No. It summarizes research signals. Review the account context yourself and learn about a person’s actual needs through a relevant conversation.
Why might research show a pending account?
